Bike Messenger & Cycling Bags

Our cycling bags are made from materials that were built for the road. Tyres and inner tubes that can no longer be repaired, and canvas from decommissioned army tents, are cleaned, cut and stitched by hand by our artisans into tough, water-resistant bags. No two are exactly alike.

Messenger bag or backpack for cycling?

A bike messenger bag gives you quick access without taking it off – ideal for short city rides and stop-start commutes. A backpack spreads the weight across both shoulders, which is more comfortable on longer rides or with a heavier load.

Are they waterproof?

The rubber and canvas are naturally water-resistant, so they handle everyday rain. We call the finished bags water-resistant rather than waterproof because the stitching and zips aren't sealed. For heavy weather, a waterproofing spray for tents adds extra protection.

Do inner tube bags smell of rubber?
