What to get a vegan for Christmas
A good vegan gift is free from animal products like leather, wool, silk and some glues, and ideally doesn't swap them for virgin plastic. That's why upcycled gifts work so well. Our bags, wallets and accessories are handmade from recycled truck inner tubes and decommissioned army tent canvas, a tough, characterful alternative to leather, and no two pieces are the same.
Not sure what they'd like? Think about the person:
- The globe trotter: always planning the next trip, so choose something hard-wearing that's built for travel.
- The statement stylist: loves an outfit with personality, so choose jewellery that starts conversations.
- The everyday practical: wants something they'll use every single day, like a wallet, belt or keyring.
Every piece of our jewellery comes in a gift box or gift bag with a small card explaining what it's made from, so the story is part of the present.

Vegan Christmas FAQs
What do vegans eat for Christmas dinner?
Plenty. Roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, sprouts, stuffing and cranberry sauce can all be vegan, as long as vegetables are roasted in plant oil rather than goose fat or butter. For the centrepiece, a nut roast, a Wellington or one of the many plant-based roasts in the supermarkets all work well.
Can vegans eat mince pies and pastry?
Often, yes. Many ready-made pastries are made with vegetable oil rather than butter, but recipes change, so always check the label.
Is all wine and beer vegan?
Not always. Some wines and beers are filtered ('fined') using animal products such as gelatine, egg white or isinglass, which comes from fish. Many brands now label their drinks as vegan, so look for that on the bottle.
What isn't vegan that people don't expect?
Gelatine in sweets and marshmallows, anchovies in some Worcestershire sauce and Caesar dressing, parmesan in pesto, and honey. In gifts, look out for leather, suede, wool, silk and animal-based glues.
Are your gifts vegan?
Our inner tube and army canvas bags, wallets and accessories are made with fabric linings and animal-free glue, and contain no leather. Check each product page for full material details, and see our materials guide to learn where everything comes from.
